Could a female get breast cancer by getting hit on the breast?

Hi.

There has been a misconception about breast trauma and cancer development and studies show that there is no direct evidence of physical trauma producing cancer.

What happens is most probably that the trauma in the breast would lead to a more careful examination and palpation of the breast tissues, which in turn would more often identify a pre-existing breast tumor that has been present even before the trauma.  

Trauma to the breast would cause bruising or hematoma formation, but this does not really lead to cancer formation.
