called back to see oncologist
my mum was diagnosed in feb 05 with breast cancer. Masectomy
march 05. 12 chemo treatments followed by 15 radio which was all finished for dec 05. Went to see oncologist 26.1.06, he said everything had gone to plan and he didnt need to see her agian, but she would have to see her surgeon/doctor for the next 5 years. The lump was 2.5cm, was found in 3 lymph and was trying to escape blood vessels. They told us everything went according to plan. Today the oncologist has called and said he needs to see her and made an appointment for Thursday. My question is what could it be. She hasnt had bloods done for 3 months or any other biopsy or scan. So what on earth could he want? We are concerned!!! Please any info at all.

thanx so much for your quick reply. i have called oncologist and he has told me that my mum is acceptable for the herceptin drug. Which i suppose is a good thing. will get to know more on thursday.
