cancer or cyst!?

by leshia0485, Nov 10, 2007 04:48PM
i have one small lump in my left brest and two lumps in my right brest. the two lumps in my right brest is slightly sensitive and one of the lumps was near my nipple, but then it moved directly under the other lump. my grandmother and my mother has cysts in their brest. do you think that it may be cysts in my brest? can cycts grow and move? and are they painful at times?

Yes, cysts can grow, shrink, be painful and move. I've had that happen myself. However, you need to find out for sure they are cysts and not other lumps, so please get them checked out.

My understanding is that cysts can be aspirated (get fluid out) but malignant tumours are solid and cannot be. Montana is right - have the lumps checked out.
good luck
Liz.
