changes in breast examination

by Vonnie819, Aug 10, 2009 10:31AM
I would like to know if a bruise in my breast that does not go away and is sore is a concern.  I have had this for about a week and do not recall bumping anything.  I cannot feel a lump but the soreness is deep down.  This is unusual for me.  Two months ago, I had a mamogram (mammogram) and it was fine.  My cousin had this same symtom and was diagnosed with stage one breast cancer.  Thanks.

This wouldn't be enough time for a bruise to disappear, especially if it's a deep bruise. Bruising isn't really a symptom of breast cancer and when BC is found it's because some investigation is done because of the bruise and the finding is incidental. If this doesn't clear up in a couple of weeks you might ck. it out with your Dr.   Regards .....
