i had bilaterial mestecomies with deip reconstruction in 2008. A few months ago I noticed a small hard nodule under my arm near down closer to the ribcag so i'm not sure if this is considered part of the chest wall. What is the chance of this being something to worry about? I've had ten procedures/surgeries in the past two years...8 of them in the last year and the thought of even investigating this drains me. The cancer in the left breast (side where i noticed the lump) was ductal carcinoma low grade.
If I were you I would have this nodule promptly checked out.You know that when we are diagnosed with breast cancer we are never really free of not having to worry about it again...even after having a Mastectomy. This nodule whether close to the ribcage or the chest wall, could be really nothing to worry about...but it's so important to find out what it is! I can see that you went through a lot and I understand how you must feel ! but please don't be discouraged and have his nodule checked out by your Surgeon/Oncologist or your family doctor..it will give you peace of mind instead of worrying by not knowing .I really hope that it's really nothing serious, I wish you all the best and God Bless.
