chronic breast lumps

how many breast lumps does one have to be severe?

I don't know there is an answer to your question. Breast lumps such as Fibroadenomas are not really considered a severe condition. I suppose if the tumors are quite large OR cause a great deal of discomfort one would think of them as a severe condition. These tumors are benign and can either be left alone or removed surgically if necessary. Fibrocystic Breast Condition affects nearly one half of all women of all ages. It is usually recommended that they be removed in women over the age of 40 but they can begin to occur even in the teen years. Regards ....
