clover leaf shape?

clover leaf shape?

What does it mean when it says a lesion is "clover leaf" shaped - is this a medical jargon thing, or does it literally mean it is shaped like a clover?
I don't feel a lump, but my MRI showed what is described as a retroareolar clover leaf shaped area of progressive enhancement with corresponding T2 hyperintense lesion.   I know MRI is very sensitives and picks up on a lot of things that are absolutely harmless, but this seems like a rather odd shape.  Is this a common finding?  If not, I would imagine it would warrant further surveillance of some kind, but I was told to continue with annual clinical follow up (i.e. manual breast checks by my gyn).

Dear tiredpoet:  This is a description of the apparent shape on the image.  It is not a medical term and has no medical significance.  If you are concerned, you should review with your doctor.
