my ultrasound came back with complex cyst that needs to be aspirated--what are the best doctors to do this and where? Do most do them in a hospital or the radiologist who reads the mammos and ultrasounds? I was told to go to the hospital but funds are very tight and i called them and the cost in unreal--any suggestions
You could talk to your physician about this and see if he/she has done the procedure or it would be best to ask your physician to recommend you to some breast specialist or breast surgeon. They are the ones who usually do the procedure.

Complex cysts have a structure that is less well defined than a simple cyst. They may contain thick fluid or dead cells. An aspiration is often recommended to make sure the cyst is not solid. The aspirated fluid is sent to the laboratory for analysis. In general, cysts are benign. Complex cysts require further evaluation.
Do let us know what eventually is decided.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
