I am 38 years old at age 27 I had a hyesterctomy because of a "simle cyst". Once they got in it was cancer. Now I have two cyst in my right breast. One is 1.9 and the other 2.9. I also have thick brown stuff coming out of my right nipple only. I also have an enlarged lymph node. My doctor said to wait 6 months. I am afraid to. Someone tell me what is the right course of action ?

I would get a second opinion and request a mammogram.

Like the other ladies said, please go and get a second opinion - preferably at a teaching hospital that has a specialist breast care centre. You need to know exactly what the problem is, with much more information than you already have. Is your Dr. a GP or a breast specialist?
It makes all the difference.
Good luck,Liz.

Mammogram was interpreted by radiology Dr. as being " malignancy suspected" (grouped calcifications) but the surgeon was unable to do stereotactic biopsy because the pics weren't clear. Had MRI which was interpreted as "normal".  Told to have another mammo in 6 mos.
This was done in Port Charlotte Fl. Wondering if I should have a second opinion and if so, who/where?

As I understand it you have had 1 mammogram that came back recommending a biopsy and then the MRI that came back "normal". I don't quite understand why the Surgeon was unable to do the biopsy. If one type couldn't be done then another should have been attempted; perhaps an excisional biopsy with wire localization. If you aren't comfortable with the 6 month wait for another mammogram then I would definitely get a second opinion. I doubt you will find a breast specialist in P.C. ... it's not that far to Ft. Myers if you need further investigation (biopsy) after your follow-up mammogram. Personally if the BIRADS score was either 4 or 5 on the first mammogram I would not wait .... I'd search the Yellow Pages and go South. All clusters of Microcalcifications are not cancer ... many biopsies for BIRADS 4 scores prove to be benign. In the future it would be best if you would post your question as a "new question" rather than on another thread .... we don't always read old posts so you might be missed.   Regards .....
