could it be a tumor?

Hi,
For about 9 or so months i've had lumps (that seem like they keep growing) inside both of my breasts. They feel like golf balls in the means of they are about the size of them, are hard, and feel kind of like they have the little grooves that a golf ball does. I also have inverted nipples (they haven't always been this way).
I have a gyno appointment in two months...Should i wait that long to talk to my doctor about them, or do you think it might be serious?

Dear kccc, A new lump or change in your breast exam is best evaluated by your doctor.  It is difficult to assess over the internet and out of context.  If you can have yourself checked sooner it is better.

I also get a sharp shooting pain in my left breast. (sorry i forgot to add that)
