Hi,
With the medical history that you give it goes more in favour of being a benign lesion. But you need to have a clinical evaluation and some investigations for a confirmed diagnosis.
When you visit the doctor, ask him what he thinks it could be and what treatment is required, if any. Also discuss the follow up plan in future - when do you need to see him next and when do any repeat investigations be done if required.
Discuss any other doubts that you might be having with your doctor. Good luck!
I check it often, and the size never changes, and it never hurts more or less, and I don't think I have a family history of cancer, and I havnt had any other symptoms, Thank you so much for your help, I am going to make a dr. Appt. like you said. But thank you again!!!
Hi,
The symptoms you describe suggest that it is a benign or non-cancerous lesion most probably. It could be a fibroadenoma or a benign cyst.
Do you notice any change in the size or increase in tenderness related to your menstrual cycle? Do you have any family history of cancer? Have you noticed any other abnormal features like nipple discharge or skin changes or pain etc?
Usually such a lesion is managed conservatively, that is, with no active management. But, to be absolutely certain about the diagnosis, it would be advisable to get a clinical evaluation done by your physician. Goodluck.
