My daugther was diagnosted with  simple cyst  last year. After sonnogram perfprmed this year she found that her cyst increas from 9 mm to 18 mm and is internal echoes in the cyst. Please give us some recomendation. What it can be?

Dear lida:  A cyst, by definition is a fluid-filled sac of tissue.  Cysts are generally benign.  As long as the cyst is not causing discomfort, common practice is to leave them alone.  However, if you are concerned or if it is causing discomfort, a cyst can be removed.
