cyst

i was diagnosed to have a cyst on my left breast last year.i am 34 years old at that time.now,my breast sometimes its itchy on my left nipple and sometimes theres a mild pain i felt around it as well.the cyst feel sore when press.i just want to ask if this is a sing of breast cancer.do i need to go back to the breast clinic to have it check further.what can you suggest me to do?i am just worried.

I would certainly ck. on the cyst at least yearly for any changes that may occur. Cysts are benign and they are painful at times and can be removed if they become bothersome.A simple Ultrasound would be sufficient to ck. on the cyst or for any others that may develop.   Regards ....
