Dear junenine,  A cyst is a fluid filled structure and if it is not causing her any problem could be just left alone without any operation.   If a procedure is necessary to treat the cyst, decisions regarding medications needed as anesthetic would take into account her allergies by the surgeon doing the procedure.

Well, she could just leave it alone if it's causing her no pain. I can't see that her allergy to drugs would have much to do with having the cyst removed though. I'm sure her PHysician knows of her allergies and a person can't be allergic to ALL drugs. If the Dr. has recommended removal of the cyst I would certainly follow thru with that. I'm sure it wouldn't have been recommended if the Dr. didn't think it was important.
