darkened nipple w/milky discharge

Hello,I am a 49 yr woman with family history of breat cancer (mother). Ihave had a breast lumpectomy on the left(negative) and biopsy on the right breast twice. I was told the right breast has 5 lumps but they are just watching and waiting. I also live on a small island, medical help is wanting to say the least. My right breast nipple now has darkened black on the tip and there is a milky/gray discharge. And the area around the nipple has lost it's color. I am trying to get off this island back to the mainland to see a doctor but that may be a couple of months. Do you think this discharge is normal at my age?
Can I wait a couple months? Thank you, I appreciate the service.

Dear Jeanne Many women have some type of nipple discharge or fluid when their breasts are squeezed, and its normal. Squeezing the nipple sends message to the brain and the pituitary gland responds by increasing prolactin levels, which in turn produces discharge from the nipple.  The discharge can come in a variety of colors
