diliated duct with debris in right breast what does this mean

im 26 and have been told i need to see a breast sugeon about a diliated duct with debris can anyon etell me what this means

It means that one of your milk ducts is larger than normal and contains some debris which is often dead cells from the ductal lining. This may require ductal lavage (washing out the clogged duct) or even possibly the surgical removal of the duct itself. Neither procedure is terribly complicated and usually done under local anesthesia.   Regards ....
