Thank you so much for this link!!! I have been stressing about a yellowish nipple discharge I have had occasionally in the last couple of months as was sure it meant cancer. Now I know there are other likely reasons. I'll go to the GP anyhow but at least I am not so worried.
Hi,
It is good that you do not have cancer according to your tests. Nipple discharge might just be a normal part of your breast's function and it might resolve on its own. However, other possible causes of bloody nipple discharge include: mammary duct ectasia, intraductal papilloma, injury, or paget's disease.
Mammary duct ectasia is one of the most common causes of abnormal nipple discharge wherein one or more of the ducts beneath your nipple becomes inflamed and clogged. On the other hand, intraductal papilloma is a small, usually noncancerous growth that projects into a milk duct near the nipple. A blunt trauma — can cause nipple discharge in both breasts. While paget's disease of the breast is uncommon and presents with itching, burning, redness or scaling of the nipple and areola. You can read more about this through this link:

Take care and regards.
