do i get a second opion

I had to tumors a year ago one was 7 cm and the other was 4cm .They were removed then i was told six months later that i have breast cancer and there was nothing they could do it was to late,I am 26 years old and a mother of four.And breast cancer runs bad in my family

I would get a second opinion. Did they find more lumps 6 months later after a mammogram?

My dear this does NOT sound right to me. I'm not sure where you were treated but this is not standard medical care. Tumors are usually biopsied first and a diagnosis would be made at that time ... with tumors that large you would have had a mastectomy and not just the removal of the tumors; which are quite large by the way. There would have been treatment following surgery which would no doubt have involved Chemotherapy as well as Radiation. Are you certain that these tumors weren't Fibroadenomas ??? I'd like to hear more about your particular case .... what type of Dr. told you that you had breast cancer and that nothing could be done. Breast cancer in someone your age though not rare, certainly doesn't happen very often. Breast cancer is ALWAYS treated .... no matter what the stage. Give us some more detailed information, please !!
