estrogen inserts

Hi,
I am four years out from estrogen positive bc. It was 1.5 cm.  I had a lumpectomy, radiation, chemotherapy and a complete hysterectomy (ovaries too).  I am doing very well.  Is it save to use a vaginal estrogen insert?  I am only 48 years old and married.  We have tried everything OTC.  This is difficult for me and for my husband.  My doctor said he does not know if it is safe or not?????

If I had an ER+ tumor I would never use any Estrogen product. There are other products (not OTC) that I know many women have found quite helpful ... you might ask the Oncologist or at least the nurses in that office. I'm sure they would be more familiar with specific products. I will send you a private message with an additional comment.  Regards ....
