Fibroadenoma is a benign breast tumor. If there are multiple tumors or complex Fibroadenomas there may be a very slight increased risk for the development of breast cancer in the future.  Regards ....

I had fibroadenoma removed from right breast.  One year later I was diagnosed with cancer in left breast.  I don't know if there was any connection but the irony of all that time worrying about my right side while a much bigger problem was developing on the left doesn't escape me.
