I'm 41, and last week, my lt breast started to feel sore, like when I get my period. I know I just ovulated, so I was thinking maybe I was going to get my period early.
I found a lumpLumps in the breasts when I was pregnant w/my 2nd child at age 33. Had a needle biopsy, and it was a lactating adenoma.
That lumpLumps in the breasts was hard and pea sized, and it hurt when I touched it, or pressed it.
This is different. It's mushy, and I can really feel it when I lay down and put my arm up. It hurts when I press it,too, but now I don't know if it's because I'm touching it all the time.
My last mammo and sono were Aug 2006...and they actually said that they couldn't even see the lactating adenoma anymore. Everytime before that it was there, but never changed in size/or shape, so we never did anything about it.
The last thing I want to pretend is to know what your problem is. You are doing the right thing in getting checked. Have you ever had a mammogram? They may recommend that you do. It will be good to have as a baseline. Good luck. D
