for the last 3 or 4 months i have experienced burning in my right breast.  I have seen some replies to pain but i am concerned about the burning.  I have had several mammograms and have been told we need to keep an eye on your breast but it is fine.  Does the burning mean there is something serious going on?

Dear chichosa:  Without evaluation, it is impossible to speculate on what might be causing your breast discomfort.  Most breast cancer does not cause pain (burning or otherwise).  You might discuss with your doctor what they are keeping an eye on.
