haematoma?

Following the surgery to remove breast nodes and lumpectomy -despite the scar healing well there is a HUGE lump in axilla area which is not a seroma and is very painful. Has anyone else had this problem? How long until it gets better? Will it delay the chrmo which is scheduled for 2 weeks from now? Is there anything i can do to help myself?

If this has been documented to be a hematoma it will eventually be absorbedbut this may take some months. I doubt that this would have anything to do with thedelay of  your Chemo. but you might ck. with your Oncologist. Your Surgeon's office should be able to advise you of anything you might do to help the situation and speed things along.   Regards ....
