hair loss after tamoxifen and breast cancer

I'm on tamoxifen 20mg since november2007, and also decapeptyl, after a breast cancer. I'm 35 years old, and I'm having a stressful hair loss, and it's becoming very thin,
I have been told that it's because of tamoxifen. I stopped it knowing that its a 2 years treatment, hoping to stop hair loss. Is there a way to recover the hair loss? and is there any alternative from tamoxifen and obviously decapeptyl, since I still have my period. Please advise

I thought it was always five year treatment. Maybe they have her on that in conjunction with others?

They will ask that you maintain the Tomaxifin treatment for a minimum of two years if you are still young enough and would like to have a child.  It is typically taken for five years.

YES TYPICALLY TOMOXIFEN IS A 5 YR. TREATMENT . It is used in women who are PRE menopause..and in your case due to younger age the 2 yr. treatment. Speak with your oncologist as to alternatives from here... There are a huge amount of side effects that can be experienced Google it for a complete list.
