just had a bilateral breast ultrasound and my report reads as follow: Careful evaluation of the left breast demonstrates a 9 by 8 mm hyppechoic nodule with poorly defined margins and moderate echoshadowing. Dopple is negative. I have a strong family history of cancer. Should I be worried.  I am 32 year old and never even felt anything other than on my right side so my doctor sent be for a bilateral.

I would think from the report you are quoting that some additional recommendation might have been made. Perhaps enough time hasn't passed for you to be contacted by your prescribing Physician for a detailed discussion of the report. Usually either a short interval re-check will be advised OR possibly even a biopsy of the nodule that was identified on film. There may be a referral to a Breast Surgeon for further evaluation.  Regards ....
