her2neu positive

my breast cancer was e/p positive and her2neu positive, negative sentinel nodes.
presently only on arimidex hormonal oral chemo therapy.   oncotype dx noted a 50%
recurrence rate, brca negative but 85% familial inheritance of a cancer gene.
should i be concerned about being her2neu positive?

Hi,
The fact that you underwent Oncotype Dx means that you had early stage, node negative, receptor positive breast cancer.

I want to confirm this: did you meant to state that the Oncotype DX Recurrance SCORE was 50, or the Recurrence RATE was 50%? I would also like you to elaborate on what you meant by "85% familial inheritance of a cancer gene".

About being Her2Neu Positive, it has shown some reduced outcome with Tamoxifen therapy although aromatase inhibitors like arimidex may show good results.
