I understand your concern.  I have just this minute got back from the doctor.  In the last two weeks I have had pain under my arm and pain and aching sensation from my back and shoulder going through to my wrist.  Today I decided to check it out ( my dad in the last 3 weeks has been diagnosed with lung cancer with the arm pain the main symptom ) It is weird that my symptoms have started now whilst he is awaiting treatment. The doctor did a breast check which he felt a 2 cm lump.  He now has given me a referral for U/S and mammogram.  It is definately  scary but I am hoping for the best.  I had a bad flu and chest infection about 3 months ago and i have felt unwell and lethargic since.  I now hope it is not due to the lump being cancerous.  The doc did say that my under arm doesnt feel swollen but the pain seems deep and is not too bad.  He thinks the pain uder arm and arm may be from a torn musscle but i havent done anything unusual to cause this.  I am definately worried but my focus is on my dad at the moment.  Hope all goes well and try and be positive.  But I think you know your own body so just get second opinions if you are unsure.
