You may want to repost your question directly to the doctors. Also, since he's been diagnosed with breast cancer you may suggest to him to get genetic testing after speaking to a BRCA savvy genetic counselor. Male breast cancer isn't very common but does happen. I would for sure get that genetic testing for the sake of your children, and his brothers & sisters. For more information about BRCA 1 & 2 testing and it's impact on families you may also want to check into www.facingourrisk.org.
I will add you and your family to my prayer list. .Best wishes
hello what does it mean to have nuclear grade 2 to 3 and histologic grade 2 plus lymphovascular invasion present. This was the diagnosis of my husband who had a tumor the size of which is 1.5 cm at the widest diameter removed from his left breast. It was ivasivse ductal carcinoma WE just found out 2 weeks ago and it is scary. Help!!!
Dear 50GC: While low nuclear grade suggests a less aggressive tumor, there are many other factors to consider and this alone is not enough to be meaningful. Your doctor, who knows more about your specific situation, may be able to shed some light on this but until all of the information is known, it is better not to make assumptions.
