i need ur help

I am a college student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel hill. I am doing a research project on breast cancer for my english class, and i need your help. I have some questions for you, i would greatly appreciate it if you could answer them to the best of your knowledge. Thanks.
1)What are the different forms of breast cancer and their side effects/symptoms?
2)Which treatment is better: radiation, chemotherapy, surgery, or some type medicine? Why?
3)What is the difference between the cm of the lumps, mastectomy and lumpectomy?
also if there is anything else that you could contribute to make my presentation wonderful, I would appreciate it greatly.  Thank you once again!!

Dear Kettabanana, There are very good publications on the National Cancer Institute site (www.nci.nih.gov) and on the American Cancer Society site (www.cancer.org). Both of these sites have downloadable information. If you are interested in more detail, you might check a large bookstore or library for texts on cancer. I have seen books written for the lay public that go into quite a bit of detail. Dollinger et al Everyone's Guide to Cancer Therapy 1997 is one example, and many of your specific questions may be answered from there. You may have to go to a medical library to obtain a medical textbook. Good luck.

Dear Friend,
If you want info about breast cancer (or any number of topics), try www.google.com & type in your search terms.  Good luck on your report.  There's a lot of good info on the web; you also might to wish asking a local hospital; our maternity hospital here has lots of great info, yours might too.  Libraries & book stores also have great info.  Good luck!
Aloha,
Starion
