Hi there,

How are you? I agree with you that sometimes, tumors that are smaller can be very aggressive and may require more intensive therapy. However, the larger the invasive tumor, the worse the prognosis or outcome. Tumor size is directly related to an increasing probability of regional metastasis, an increasing average number of involved axillary lymph nodes, and an increasing probability of recurrence and death. I guess what is more important to note is the doubling time and cancer maturity of these cells which determines the growth history of cancer.
