inverted nipple and a lump

i just went to the doctor....i discovered a lump on my right breast and my nipple is inverted.  There is a 2-3 week wait on an appointment in the breast clinic and i cant sleep or stop crying with worry.  I have a 13 year old daughter and son at 9 and twin boys aged 7.all i think about is them having to grow up without their mum......can anyone give me advice on what they think the diagnosis will be.......is there a chance its not cancer or is it cancer  full stop........

Dear Theweehen, There could be several other things causing your symptoms besides cancer, however, without further evaluation it is impossible to know for sure what this is.  You are doing the correct thing by having this checked out.

have an appointment on wednesday at the breast clinic....fingers crossed

had  a mamogram (mammogram) a sona gram and a biopsy.....waiting now till next wednesday to hear the results of the biopsy
not feeling very confident at the moment........just wish i knew what will happen next
