Hi,
You would need a clinical examination by a physician before a confirmed diagnosis is reached.
Inverted nipples are either permanent or temporary inversion - and further management varies accordingly. They can also be seen as normal variants in some females.
What is your age? Any other abnormal features that you have noticed on breast self examination like nipple discharge, breast lump, or skin changes?
The option of plastic surgery is also avaliable for correction or protraction of the nipple.
Let us know if you have any other doubts and also about what your specialist advises.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
