by Azia, Jan 04, 2009 11:56AM
For about 8 month I have on and off had itchey aerola.  More on my left than right.  I noticed a red tiny bump and it itches bad.  Now it is scaley feeling and my aerola looks like it got larger to that area?  I had a breast exam in November, and I didnt bring it up then cuz it didnt itch then.  Came out all good.  Now it itches again.  I am 52 , can it be padgets.

Hi!

I'm not sure about Padgett's, but when you say you had a breast exam, did you have a mammogram or ultra sound, or a manual exam by the dr?  Let me know, it makes a difference, ok?

Thanks for replying, I had my regular pap where she did breast exam, no fluid leakage or anything.  I also went for a mamo at the radiology.  It all came back okay.  What it looks like is a tiny red bump like a bite of some kind but I know it isn't cus its back.

Ok, so it's mainly on the surface of your skin?

I would try a dermatologist, then.  Get someone to give you a definite diagnosis so that you know what you are dealing with, ok?

Warmly,

Chris
