just a little concerned

ok so I had a breast biopsy six months ago for the removal of some cluster cysts. All was fine no cancer. A month ago I went for my yearly exam with my Gyno. I told him that I have been having some pain and soreness in this breast. He gave me an exam and says he feel nothing and it could simply be the cysts have returned or  this is scar tissue . He feels I have nothing to worry about. I also contacted the breast clinic that I went to which is Dartmouth Hospital. They are experts at this. They say these were simply cysts and yes this could be scar tissue or they have returned. The pain is very mild. I guess i just worry. Does anyone else have this going after a biopsy and should I just relax...
Thanks
Pj

That is true ... the formation of cysts has some relation to the hormone levels in the body which will be less with menopause.   Regards ....

thank you, I am also going through menopause and have been without a period for a year at the age of 48. Dr. says that is a little early, also says my breasts should get better now and become less dense and form less cysts. I sure hope this is true....

This would not be unusual .... cysts do return or new ones are formed and scar tissue can certainly account for some discomfort. Breast discomfort with or without previous surgery of any kind is not an unusual occurance.   Regards ....
