l have been on tamoxofin for just over five years after having a lumpectomy and a course of radiotherapy with no side effects.Since l was taken off them l am suffering with Arthritic pain in my joints and a swollen arm above my elbow.Could this be a side effect of not taking tamoxofin

It i difficult to say whether Tamoxifen has induced arthritis in your joints or not. It is not a known side effect. Arthritis is also a natural degenerative process which happens over a period of time. The best course is to see an orthopedic who would prescribe drugs to help you bear the pain as well other drugs to strengthen your joints and bones. In the meantime, you may try warm fomentation and light exercises of your joints to keep them mobile.
