light taxol: what side effects

can you give me a list of the side effects for a LIGHT dose of taxol?

Hi there.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'light' dose of taxol but I'm assuming that you are pertaining to the low dose, but weekly regimen compared to the standard dose- every three week- regimen.  For the weekly schedule, you can expect more neuropathy side effects (numbness, tingling or pain in hands and feet).  The weekly schedule has lower incidence of neutropenia, or lowering of white blood cells.  Both schedules can cause hair loss and some amount of nausea or vomiting.
