i found lumb on my breast 2.5 years ago..is on right side, going to my arm side..i went for biopsy they said is ok..can i have a cancer when iam 24?the lamb is all the time there
This lump that has been there for quite sometime would actually represent benign changes in the breast such as fibrocystic disease or fibroadenoma which represents an unusual response of the breast tissues to hormones. The biopsy confirmed the benign nature of the lump, and if this is indeed fibrocystic disease, then this does not increase your chance of having cancer in the future. It is a different story if there is atypical hyperplasia in the biopsy result which may turn into cancer in the future.
Moreover, at your age, breast cancer is still quite uncommon, but I would still suggest constant follow up and examination by your doctor.
Regards.
