lump in the breast

i have noticed a painful lump in my left breast and 3 goose pimple like things on the dark area of the left breast. are these signs of breast cancer. i have no family history of breast cancer. which one is usually painful?  a cyst or breast cancer.
i am able to move the lump with my hand? what could this be? a tumor or a cyst. i am really worried about it. i just got married. is a breast tumor painful?

Dear nancypv, From what you describe this could very well be a cyst however without having it checked out it is impossible to say for sure.  It is always a good idea to have a new lump evaluated.

i did not have my age in there. i am 31 years old.

the bumps on the areola (the dark area) are most likely nothing at all to worry about. You didn't state your age; but most tender lumps are not cancer. However, no one can tell you what a lump is online. You need to have it checked by your doctor.
