Yesterday i notice some pain around my right breast and noticed a lump on the side of the nipple, it had a little discharge and is very painful. its day 2 and its become difficult to wear a bra because it rubs on the nipple. it feels hard and a little white discharge is coming but only when i squeeze it and it hurts a lot. i just got on my period too but the lump is directly on the dark part of the nipple. what should i do?

Dear majkhooeji: There are normally some little bumps on the areola (dark part around the nipple). When squeezed they can secrete white discharge. You could also have a pimple or other skin abnormality as these can occur anywhere on the body. You may want to give it a day or two. Try not to squeeze it. If it worsens or does not resolve, you could have your doctor take a look.
