lumps and sore breasts

Please help me, i have two smaall lumps on my breasts and the whole of my breasts are very sore! Even when i touch them lightly they are very painfull. I am only 15 so im not sure whether its posible to have breast cancer at this age.

Dear Fabgirl, Breast pain is a common breast symptom.  The reason for breast pain is not clearly understood, and is not usually associated with breast cancer.  Breast pain is sometimes associated with hormonal variations (around the time of the menstrual period) and is then called cyclical breast pain.  Noncyclical breast pain does not seem to be linked to hormonal variations and is often localized to one area of the breast tissue.  Noncyclical breast pain may or may not be the result of an injury to the breast.  

Regarding the two small lumps, what you may be feeling is some natural lumpiness in your breasts, but it is impossible over the internet to say.  Cancer in a 15 year old would be very unusual, and what you are experiencing could be attributed to other things (as noted above).  If you are still concerned, you may want to have this checked out by a health care professional who can ask you questions, do an exam and help you to determine whether this is a normal variation or something that needs further evaluation.
