lymh nodes in breast

i recently had a mammogram and a "rounded object"
was found on my left breast. an ultrasound was ordered for farther investigation and the radiologist stated it was a lymph node in my breast. he stated this was very rare to find a  lymph node there but there was nothing to be concerned with. should i have a second opinion or is it possible to have a lymph node that low in my breast?

Hi,
You need to get a copy of both the mamogram (mammogram) and the USG report. That would tell you what has been exactly reported by the radiologist.
Was the mamogram (mammogram) a routine screening / follow up mammogram or was it done for any symptoms that you were having?
You need to discuss with your doctor, about the report in detail. It is important to know for sure about what the 'rounded object' has been reported as, so that the further management be planned accordingly.
If it appears suspicious to your doctor then a biopsy might help in reaching a confirmed diagnosis. Alternatively a regular follow up with a repeat mamogram (mammogram) and USG could be done in 6 months or when your doctor suggests.
Hope this helps.
Goodluck.
