lymph Nodes

How do you know if the lymph nodes in your armpits or neck are swollen?

Yes, the pain could be muscle related,but if you suspect that there is also swelling in your armpit,I think it's better to have your doctor check it out ,just to be on the safe side okay?

Thank you. Yeah... I don't feel a lump l, they just hurt... like a pulled muscle but it's both... I was thinking they might be swollen but there's no lump so maybe I do too much lifting at work... I'm a toddler teacher

Hi,
Well, it is very easy to tell.If you have a swollen lymph node,you will actually feel a lump in the  armpits,collarbone.neck,groin etc..
There are many factors that could cause lymph nodes to swell...The most common being bacterial or viral infection,but they can also swell for other more serious health problems.
Most importantly,seek medical advice if the swollen lymph node becomes larger or doesn't go away after a month.
