I recently had a mammogram and it show two lymph nodes present. I now have pain in both breasts and under the arms. I'm a runner and these nodes are becoming such a problem that the ones under my arms now hurt when I put on my tight fitting running clothes. Are all nodes in the breasts considered dangerous? Should I be proactive with this and listen to my body?
Intramammary lymph nodes aren't usually cause for concern. I see no reason that the nodes should be giving you any type of problem unless they are enlarged due to an infection somewhere in the body. The breast pain and axillary pain may be connected in some way to your running. Regards ....
