lymph nodes

I have noticed these in the crese of my upper leggs and they hurt. They feel like slippery little balls under my skin what is this???

Hi there.

These little nodules under the skin can be lymph nodes, fatty tissues (lipomas), or benign cysts.  Lymph nodes can enlarge if you have infections (bacterial most commonly) on your lower extremity or groin area.  This can be treated with antibiotics and should cause regression of the lymph nodes.  However, there are some cases where no obvious cause can be determined clinically and a biopsy of the enlarged nodes can be warranted.  I suggest that you show this to your doctors so that you can be evaluated properly.
