I am 35 and just had a baseline mammogram done. I have been told to come back for another mammogram in six months due to the left breast showing 2 non-malignant lymph nodesLymph node biopsy Swollen glands Swollen lymph nodes in the groin Swollen lymph nodes under arm and the right side showing non-malignant calcifications. I am wanting to know what questions to ask my doctor, I really do not want to wait six months. I have always had breast pain on the left side, never on the right and I have been told that I am very fibrousFibrous dysplasia. How do they know that these results are non-malignant? Thank you, Micki
Try posting this to the doctor above on the other breast cancer forum. We only get 2 question a day so try postong in the early morning. Also lots of reading at breastcancer.org, a place that has questions to ask and joining the discussion board will help you greatly. I don't think I would wait. Early diagnosis is very important. It may be nothing but at least you'll know. I wish you well.
