im 32 yrs.old married with 2 kids.i have done a mammogram and breast US last 6 omtns ago.the result of my mammogram there is moderately dense fibroglandularntissue bilaterally and suspicious cluster of microcalcification or architectural distortion is seen is these serious or what does it mean.and my doctor ask me to have follow.up for breast US i ask her she told me im fine and it will go.hope you can give some idea and answer to my question.thank you!

Most of what you state is nothing to be concerned about but the suspicious cluster of microcalcifications (if this is present on film) could be of some concern. Usually when there is a finding of a cluster of calcifications a biopsy is recommended to determine the cause. This can in some instances be an early indication of breast cancer. A great number of findings such as this do result in a benign conclusion after biopsy but not always. I would think that the Radiologist who read your films might have recommended either a biopsy or a repeat Mammogram in 3 to 6 months. You might consider seeing a Breast Specialist and have him/her evaluate your films.  Regards .....
