mammography
i had a mammography and a ultersound becuase they found 4 lumps this time can they tell if they are cancers or not bye looking at those test both side of my family has breast cancer
thanks they sent me a letter saying that they probably benign i go back for another mam. 5mths.

A radiologist would usually have an idea about the imagery that mammogram and US have shown.Usually a BIRADS score is given to determine if the lumps seen has to be investigated further.If there is a lump or lumps that look suspicious,a biopsy might be needed because this test, is the only way to know for sure the nature of these lumps.I hope that your results will be favorable.Best wishes and good luck
