Yes. I had mine in late 2007. Don't be afraid... there's very littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys pain, if any involved. However, I found the process to be a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys bit uncomfortable... but certainly nothing to get stressed out about. You'll be positioned faceFace pain down on an examination table that has an opening for your breast (this position and the time that I had to lie in this position was the uncomfortable part). A local anesthetic will be administered. A needle probe will be inserted (you'll feel some pressurePressure ulcer from that). Then, a tiny titanium microMicro-guard Micro-k Micro-k 10 clip (a reference marker for future mammograms) will be placed where the the biopsy specimen is taken. You'll probably be given instructions about keeping the punctureAcupuncture Alternative medicine - pain relief Cerebral spinal fluid (csf) collection Cuts and puncture wounds Emergency airway puncture Laceration versus puncture wound Lumbar puncture (spinal tap) Venipuncture site dry and clean. I was told to avoid: heavy lifting, going into swimming pools and sitting in hot tubs. I was able to resume my regular daily activities the day following the biopsy. There was some soreness that I felt for only a few days after the procedure. I was given Vicodin for pain, but I never needed it. The healing was quick. And, I was left with a barely noticeable puncture scar. Hope this info helps. Best wishes, good luck and... don't be afraid!
