minimally positive for estrogen and progesterone receptor

I have recently been diagnosed with grade 2 breast cancer.  I am scheduled for surgery Dec. 28th.
My path reports came back and showed that I am minimally positive (estrogen 7%, progesteron 18%) and Her2 negative.  With those low positives does that mean I am near triple negative breast cancer?  Will I still respond well to the hormones since i am only minimally positive.  On another scale it showed 86% aggressiveness.  The tumor is 1.2 cm.  I was planning on having a lumpectomy with radiation following.  Will I also need chemo due to the aggressiveness.  i am concerned over the low numbers for estrogen and progesterone.

There are a few things which would have helped, had you mentioned them - what is your age, whether there is any lymph node involvement? These would also help to decide the further management plan.
From what we know now, an aggressive tumour with a size of 1.2 cms with minimally positive estrogen and progesterone status and HER2 negative would make chemotherapy the adjuvant treatment of choice. But this is on the basis of what you have mentioned, it would definitely need to be improvised according to what your surgeon and oncologist think is the best option in your case.
Even though you have a minimally positive estrogen and progesterone status, depending on your individual case and keeping in view your particular medical history, clinical examination and other test reports your doctor might try hormone therapy.
You need to relax, and discuss all your doubts with your surgeon and oncologist in detail. Goodluck with the surgery.
