what do you know about invasive ductal carcinoma, grade 2 with lubular features. I have not seen breast surgeon yet or had anything done but stereotactic biopsy. Thank you

Since you have not met with the breast surgeon yet, it is totally understandable that you would not know anything about your condition. When you do meet with the surgeon he will hopefully explain to you about what's going on and answer your questions.

I mean it's really normal to feel lost at this stage, and it took me quite a while to understand anything, really, and I just let myself be led.

We should not be the ones to speculate about your condition at this time and before you have talked to the surgeon. Treatment also really is a process and you keep on finding out more along the way, i.e. the biopsy will tell you so much but it was only a small sample, and so when you have surgery, there will be more information coming in.

Thank you so much for answering. This waiting a week makes your mind wander.I feel my doctor is worth the wait. I hear he is very knowledgeable. I have path report in my hands but no understanding of what it means.  thanks again.

It would be really helpful if you had so9meone to go with you to the appointment for support and an extra paitr of ears and perhaps to ask questions and clarify what is being said.

I was alone and I did not know any more after the surgeon explained the report than I did before. The same was true after my surgery; I did not remember a word he said and that was when I asked for a copy of the report.

Yes, if at all possible, have a friend go with you. For every time I did bring along another person I was so grateful afterwords, and happy that I did.  KAT
